While I was reading through the readings, it brought to my attention how crucial it is to make things clear and well explained is to this new style of online learning. I prefer closed courses over open courses. The reason for this is that I believe that open courses may include people that don’t care about the class or are just not interested. However, with closed courses, it is rare for that to happen. On the other hand, open learning gives people the chance to experience and find what they find interesting. They can also find the best fit for themselves. I think the more we advance in the future, the better our learning technology will become, and it will be easier for people to experience both with different learning styles. Closed learning continuously keeps students focused and doing their work on time, where as for open learning, students may be easily unfocused and unmotivated.
